Radiation-Tolerant Proton Detector Based on the MAPbBr3 Single Crystal

چکیده
Proton detection has attracted immense interest recently, owing to the increasing demands for applications in physics, medicine, and space. However, proton detectors suffer from a general problem of performance degradation caused by irradiation-induced defects over long-term operation. Herein, we report detector based on methylammonium lead tribromide (MAPbBr3) perovskite single crystal, which exhibits remarkable radiation tolerance. The can monitor fluence rate dose quantitatively up high 45 kGy with fairly low bias electric field (0.01 V μm–1). Further 1 MGy (7.3 × 1013 p cm–2) results dark current degrading gradually, but rapidly recover at room temperature few hours after irradiation, showing desirable self-healing characteristic, further enhance tolerance detector. These show that this perovskite-based is highly promising future therapy, radiography, so forth.

Patient-specific stopping power calibration for proton therapy planning based on single-detector proton radiography.
A simple robust optimizer has been developed that can produce patient-specific calibration curves to convert x-ray computed tomography (CT) numbers to relative stopping powers (HU-RSPs) for proton therapy treatment planning. The difference between a digitally reconstructed radiograph water-equivalent path length (DRRWEPL) map through the x-ray CT dataset and a proton radiograph (set as the grou...
متن کاملCharacterization of a new commercial single crystal diamond detector for photon- and proton-beam dosimetry
A synthetic single crystal diamond detector (SCDD) is commercially available and is characterized for radiation dosimetry in various radiation beams in this study. The characteristics of the commercial SCDD model 60019 (PTW) with 6- and 15-MV photon beams, and 208-MeV proton beams, were investigated and compared with the pre-characterized detectors: Semiflex (model 31010) and PinPoint (model 31...
متن کاملOptical Radiation Measurements Based on Detector Standards
A near-IR radiometer standard with similar performance to silicon trap-detectors has been developed to calibrate detectors and radiometers for absolute spectral power, irradiance, and radiance responsivities between 950 nm and 1650 nm. The new radiometer standard is utilized at the Spectral Irradiance and Radiance Responsivity Calibrations using Uniform Sources (SIRCUS) which is the reference c...
متن کاملClinical radiation therapy measurements with a new commercial synthetic single crystal diamond detector
A commercial version of a synthetic single crystal diamond detector (SCDD) in a Schottky diode configuration was recently released as the new type 60019 microDiamond detector (PTW-Freiburg, Germany). In this study we investigate the dosimetric properties of this detector to independently confirm that findings from the developing group of the SCDDs still hold true for the commercial version of t...
